I taught UC Berkeley's introductory CS course, CS10: The Beauty and Joy of Computing. I landed this job after three years of TAing this course. I developed and gave a series of one hours lectures on introductory programming and various special topics, wrote exams, and held office hours.
I taught discussions and labs for UC Berkeley's aforementioned introductory CS course, CS10: The Beauty and Joy of Computing. I was also heavily involved in course development throughout this time. 4.8 out of 5 students agree that Steven Traversi is an excellent instructor.
I spent three summers volunteering with the Exploratorium Teacher Institute. We showed middle and high schools science and math teachers how to teach fun and interactive lessons.
